Who these terms are with
KerbCam is operated by Quilliam AI Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17151006, trading as KerbCam. “KerbCam”, “we” and “us” mean that operator, which must also be identified consistently in Stripe checkout, order confirmations and invoices.
General questions can be sent to hello@kerbcam.com.
By creating an account or using KerbCam, you agree to these terms. If you use KerbCam for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept them for that organisation. You must be at least 18 to start a paid subscription.
The KerbCam service
KerbCam provides an iPhone app and related cloud service for capturing, uploading, organising, retrieving and sharing job photos and short videos. Features can include place-based job grouping, before-and-after comparisons, photo boards, maps and file export.
The iPhone app is a free companion to the separately purchased web-based service. There is no purchase flow or link to buy inside the iPhone app. A compatible iPhone, internet connection and current supported version may be needed for some features.
Your account and security
KerbCam uses one-time email links instead of a password. You are responsible for keeping your email account and signed-in devices secure, using accurate information and telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
A link works once and expires after 15 minutes. Do not forward a sign-in link or code. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from our failure to use reasonable security.
Trial, price and billing
The first eligible KerbCam subscription for an account starts with a 7-day free trial. Restarting a previous plan on the same account does not create another trial. If an account is permanently deleted, its trial record is deleted with the other account data; any later account is assessed under the eligibility rules offered at that time. Unless you cancel before an eligible trial ends, the plan renews automatically at £9.99 per month using the payment method provided to Stripe. Stripe checkout shows any trial end, the first payment date and any applicable tax treatment before you confirm.
Each monthly period renews until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to collect the recurring amount on our behalf. If a payment fails, KerbCam may retry it and ask you to update the payment method. We aim not to interrupt access immediately after a failed payment; a fully ended plan can become read-only, but the library is not deleted for non-payment.
Manage payment details, invoices and cancellation through your web account. The Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights that cannot legally be limited.
Your photos, videos and other content
You retain ownership of content you add to KerbCam. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, process, organise, transmit and display it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and to follow your sharing or export choices. That permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to legal obligations and the restricted operational-backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to capture, store and share the content, including any personal data, people, homes or client information shown. KerbCam is not a public social network; sharing happens only when you choose a destination or recipient.
Acceptable use
You must not use KerbCam to:
- break the law, infringe rights or capture content unlawfully;
- upload malware, abusive material or content intended to harm;
- probe, bypass or interfere with security, accounts or rate limits;
- access another customer’s library without permission;
- resell or overload the service through automated bulk use; or
- misrepresent KerbCam or use it to send spam.
We may investigate credible abuse, restrict the affected action or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers or the service. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and offer a way to contact us.
Availability, changes and backups
We use reasonable care to keep KerbCam secure and available, but no online service is uninterrupted. Maintenance, network faults, device limits or third-party outages can temporarily affect access. Keep exported copies of material you cannot afford to lose and do not use KerbCam as the only record where law, safety or a contract requires a separate archive.
KerbCam can change features to improve security, reliability or product fit. We will give reasonable notice if a material change removes core paid functionality, unless urgent security or legal action is needed. Operational backups support recovery but do not replace the account’s Recently Deleted feature and cannot be requested as an individual file restore.
Cancellation, suspension and account deletion
You can cancel the subscription through your web account. Unless a refund or mandatory right applies, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. A plan that reaches its end becomes read-only: viewing, download and deletion remain available, while new uploads can require an active plan.
Cancelling does not delete the library. You can separately delete the entire account from the iPhone app or web account. Account deletion is permanent and also ends the linked Stripe customer and subscription.
We may end the service or an account for serious or repeated breach, unlawful use, security risk or where continuing would be impracticable. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export content.
Responsibility and liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.
KerbCam is intended as a job-photo workflow, not a safety system, regulated recordkeeping service or substitute for professional backup obligations. To the extent the law permits for business customers, we are not responsible for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control.
These terms do not override rights a consumer has under applicable law.
General terms
The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer the account or these terms without permission; we may transfer the service as part of a legitimate business reorganisation while preserving your rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, while any mandatory local consumer rights continue to apply. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear a dispute. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
We may update these terms for product, legal or security reasons. Material changes will be explained before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply, except where law requires fresh agreement.
