Cancellation & refunds

Leave without losing your work.

Cancel online whenever you like. Your subscription and your cloud library are separate, so ending payment does not silently delete job photos.

Effective 29 July 2026. Last updated 29 July 2026.

Cancel during trialCancel before it ends and the first monthly charge is not taken.
Monthly renewal£9.99 each month until you cancel.
No automatic deletionCancellation does not erase the cloud library.

Your 7-day free trial

An eligible account receives the trial on its first subscription. Restarting a previous KerbCam plan on that account does not create another trial. Permanently deleting an account also deletes its trial record; any later account is assessed under the eligibility rules offered at that time. Stripe shows any trial start, trial end and first payment date before checkout is confirmed. A payment method may be required, but the monthly fee is not charged during an eligible trial.

Cancel before the trial end shown by Stripe and no first £9.99 monthly payment will be taken. Do not rely on the final minute: payment systems and time zones can differ, so cancel at least 24 hours before the shown deadline where possible.

How to cancel

  1. Sign in at kerbcam.com/account.
  2. Choose Manage subscription.
  3. In Stripe’s billing portal, choose the cancellation option.
  4. Review the effective date and confirm.

Keep Stripe’s confirmation email. If the portal is unavailable, email hello@kerbcam.com from the account address before the renewal deadline. We will use the time the request was received when resolving a billing dispute.

What happens after cancellation

Unless Stripe states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period. Paid features remain available until that date. There is no further monthly renewal after cancellation takes effect.

When the plan has ended, the account can become read-only. Existing media is not deleted for non-payment: you can continue to view, download and delete your work, while new captures or uploads can require an active plan. Restarting a plan restores write access.

Refunds and statutory rights

Monthly charges are normally non-refundable once a paid period has started, because the service remains available for that period. We will correct duplicate charges, billing errors and any refund required by law. We may also make a fair discretionary refund where the service was materially unavailable or the circumstances justify it.

UK and other consumer law may provide cancellation or refund rights that depend on where you live, whether you subscribe as a consumer, when digital service began and how much was supplied. Nothing in this policy removes those statutory rights. Contact us within 14 days of the order if you believe a legal cooling-off right applies; we will assess the request based on the applicable law and service already provided.

To request a review, email the account address, Stripe receipt or invoice number, charge date and reason to hello@kerbcam.com. Never send full card details.

Failed or overdue payments

Stripe may retry a failed payment and send an email asking you to update the card. KerbCam aims to keep the account writable during a short payment-retry period. If the subscription fully lapses, the library becomes read-only rather than being deleted.

Update the payment method through your account. Bank declines, expired cards and authentication failures must usually be resolved with the bank or in Stripe checkout.

Cancellation is not account deletion

Cancelling stops future subscription renewal; it does not remove photos, videos or account records. To erase the active library, use Delete Account in the iPhone app or on the web account page. That action also removes the linked Stripe customer and subscription and cannot be undone.

Restricted database exports rotate. After a fully verified backup run, media absent from the current catalogue moves into a restricted 30-day quarantine; a later verified run rechecks its path, size and digest before expiry. Deletion pauses if verification fails, so an incident can extend retention rather than risk deleting the wrong file. The Privacy Policy explains this separately from active service data.
