Help when you need it.

Start with the answers below or email the KerbCam team. We will help you get back to your jobs and photos.

Talk to a person.

Tell us the email on your KerbCam account, what you were trying to do and what happened. If the app shows an error, include its exact wording.

Email support

Never email a one-time sign-in code, payment card details or customer media that is not needed to explain the problem.

Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your KerbCam account from inside the iPhone app:

  1. Open Library.
  2. Tap Library options, then Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm Delete Everything.

This permanently removes the account, cloud photos and videos, thumbnails, job sites, pairings and signed-in sessions. It cannot be undone and does not use the 30-day Recently Deleted window.

Active service data is removed as part of the deletion. Restricted operational database exports rotate. A fully verified backup run moves media absent from the current catalogue into a restricted 30-day quarantine, and a later verified run rechecks it before expiry. Verification failure pauses deletion and can extend retention; backup media is not available through KerbCam. See the retention section of the Privacy Policy.

If you cannot access the app, email hello@kerbcam.com from the address on your account. We will verify the request before deleting anything.

Common questions

My sign-in link did not open KerbCam

Request a fresh link in KerbCam and tap the button on the iPhone where the latest app is installed. KerbCam should open and sign you in automatically. A link works once and expires after 15 minutes.

If Safari opens instead, expand “Having trouble opening the iPhone app?”, copy the fallback code, then paste it into KerbCam. Request a new link if the code has already been used or expired.

What happens when I have poor signal?

KerbCam keeps a protected local copy while an upload is waiting. Leave the app installed and let it reconnect when you have signal. The local staged original is removed only after the cloud confirms the uploaded file and its integrity check.

If an upload stays paused, check that your iPhone has free storage, reopen KerbCam on a stable connection and look for the upload status at the top of Library.

How do I change what stays on my iPhone?

Open Library, tap Library options, then choose Storage. You can keep no cloud originals locally, or keep recent originals for 7, 30 or 90 days, or keep all of them within the app's storage safeguards.

The cloud library remains your durable copy. Small thumbnails stay cached so Library remains useful with poor signal.

How do I save something to Apple Photos?

Open the photo, video or finished comparison in KerbCam, tap Share, then choose Save to Photos. The first time, allow KerbCam to add to Photos. This is add-only access: KerbCam does not read or import your existing personal photo library.

How do I share several photos in a chosen order?

In Library, tap Select, then tap each photo in the order you want. The blue badges show 1, 2, 3 and so on. Tap Share once to send the whole numbered selection together to an app such as WhatsApp. The receiving app may apply its own attachment limits.

Why does KerbCam say location is unavailable?

KerbCam only attaches a fresh, accurate location at capture time. Move somewhere with a clearer view of the sky and wait briefly for the location indicator.

You can also open iOS Settings, find KerbCam and allow Location While Using the App with Precise Location enabled. A photo still saves if location is unavailable; it is marked accordingly.

Can I restore a deleted photo or video?

Yes, for 30 days. Open Library, choose Recently Deleted and restore the item. After its 30-day deadline, the active cloud copy is purged and cannot be restored through KerbCam. The separate backup position is explained below.

Where are subscriptions and card details handled?

KerbCam subscriptions are managed on the web through Stripe. Card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure pages. KerbCam does not store full card numbers or security codes; Stripe makes the billing records needed for invoices, account support and payment status available to the service operator.

Ending a subscription does not delete your library. If you need help with a charge, cancellation or invoice, email hello@kerbcam.com from the address on your account.

You can manage or cancel online from your account. The plan is £9.99 per month after a 7-day free trial. Read the cancellation and refund policy before subscribing.

Does account deletion remove backup copies immediately?

Deletion removes your active account and library. Operational database exports are access-restricted and rotate on a defined schedule. Media absent from the current catalogue enters a restricted 30-day quarantine only after a fully verified backup run, then expires after a later integrity recheck. If verification fails, deletion pauses and retention can extend. It is not used as a live library or restored to recreate a deleted account.

If a disaster-recovery restore reintroduces data that was already deleted, KerbCam will remove it again. Some minimal billing or legal records may be retained where the law requires.
